' Sass 'N' Skort '

So I finally got myself a SKORT! A few people asked me '' what the hell is a Skort'?'' , WELL.... It's a Skirt and a pair of Shorts all rolled into one!

Originally I was looking for just a simple white one but came across this SASSY tiger - like monochrome print which is just fab. It has two side zips and the Skirt part creates the illusion that it is a wrap over mini Skirt from the front. This little garment of clothing was surprisingly comfortable, but however I did end up getting a size bigger as it's not cool to have your butt cheeks hanging out.

Because of the loud print and legs out I teamed it with a simple blouse for a more smarter and sophisticated feel. I've got a thing about silver shoes at the moment, I guess you could call it a little bit of an obsession so of course when I saw these brogues I was all over them! I've been wanting a pair of these for such along time to the point last year I spray painted some old H&M ones in metallic silver, it didn't quite work but I guess it was worth a shot! I was so so happy New Look came through on these and at £17.99 they where a total bargain as most of the ones I looked at were over £100.

Still keeping in with a smarter vibe but doing a mega color pop I pulled it all together with a fuchsia pink blazer and topped it off with my bowler hat.

Moral of the Outfit: Team a sassy Skort with smarter garments but add quirkiness by choosing eye catching colors and detailed flat shoes.

' Spanish Lights '

Dress - H&M

I've had this loud one shouldered number hanging in my closet for five or so months now. Even though the weather has been incredibly warm recently I was still a little wary to wear this out as I guess I'd pick this dress out for a holiday and actually I was going to take it to Florida but I have so many clothes and with my wedding outfit and all I had to downsize the amount of items I was taking. I love this dress though and the story in the title is that the colors and the print remind me of bright city lights, and the one shouldered top with the frill reminds me of what flamenco dancers wear in Spain.

Going into the detail, I guess you could argue the fact that it isn't actually 'one shouldered' due to the thin spaghetti style strap on the other side, but its hardly noticeable with all the detail and frill going on. In the torso area it is elasticated, I always tend to wear a belt with dresses that have this, so my black leather belt with a silver round buckle worked as its pretty simple and with the dress being so vibrant I didn't want any accessories to be fussy.

Belt - Tkmaxx

Bag - River Island

Boots - Charlotte Rouse

Ring - Pilgrim

To show off the detail up top, I swept my hair up in a messy ponytail. I was ages picking out the right pair of shoes to go with this outfit (maybe because I have so many) but again I didn't want anything to loud or to detailed because of the dress. The shoe boots are from Charlotte Rouse and I got them over in America, the monochrome worked ell with the dress and the fact they are shoe boots toned it down for a summer style look over here in England .

The Best Brights: Think LOUD, think PROUD!!!

Don't be afraid and don't have a boring washing line full of muted dark colors. Go for it and add lots of color to your wardrobe. Summers still hanging on so make the most of it, and if your lucky to be going away on a late deal treat yourself to some bold colorful fun clothes to stand out in your holiday snaps! ' Metallic Mania '

One of my favorite looks this week and a little mad on metallics! The Skirt I bought a couple of months ago in the sale at Topshop. I love pleated skirts and the color of the metallic material is a bronze kind of tone and it makes such a fashion statement. Metallic clothing has a slight mermaid look as the shine is like their tails and fin. To match up with more metallic and more high fashion  my Boohoo.com faves came out to play....These Shoes, there are no words and at just £15 they were a total steal. For a more softer touch my blush front frill Cami from H&M came in handy for this outfit.
