Disney Fashionista - The Little Mermaid

To kick start the fashion fun time with Disney's Fashionista's is Ariel from the 1989 animated movie The Little Mermaid. Using her colour scheme from her 'under the sea' look I've created and put together a casual outfit with accessories from her finding of things from 'the human world'.

Skirt, Belt and Trainers - Asos

I've picked this skirt from Asos as the materiel is light and flowy, the stripes give the look of Ariel's fins. I've chosen the purple crop top but with long sleeves for a casual day look as many of us probably wouldn't want to walk around in a shell bralet like the Disney Mermaid - unless you are on the beach. The light green belt matches the colour of the sneakers to represent her light green fins. Some parts of the movie she has a tan bag which is used for collecting her 'human world' items so I came across this tan messenger bag by Boohoo.

I have chosen jewellery that is silver based, for the ears it keeps her underwater roots at heart by adding a pair of silver starfish drop earrings. The necklace completes her 'collection' with a long silver based chain with a knife, fork and spoon pendant and the ring is an actual spoon just moulded round and is so unique!

This Ariel outfit is perfect for summer days, gigs and festivals or a day chillin'.
