Wedding Weekender!!!

OH MY GOSH! So this weekend just gone was so busy as I had two weddings to go to, but it was a fun filled romantic weekend and they made me want to start planning my wedding already!

The first wedding was on the Saturday which I was invited to for the ceremony and reception and also I did a candy table too which went down a treat as all the adults pretty much elbowed the kids out of the way to get first pick of the sweets so it was a huge success haha,  poor bloody kids! The venue was an oldish manor house situated in the derbyshire area, it wasn't too shabby but it wasn't overly posh.., I suppose the same as my outfit really. I got my hair done but there wasn't any need for me to have a fascinator in as they aren't really my thing but maybe if it was a church wedding I may have considered it.

Dress - Ebay
Bag - Michael Kors
Shoes - Christian Louboutin
Watch - Daniel Wellington

When I bought this dress last year I had short bobbed dark hair with a fringe and was channeling Alexa Chung the first time I wore it, obviously now I have blonde hair so I have come around to the idea that no matter how much I dream theres only one Chungy!! Darn it! But on the bright side I always think a red hot dress looks better on a blonde (unless your Miranda Kerr). I felt really sophisticated in it and it was something like £40 from eBay. To feel worth while as its not very often a wedding comes along, although I've got 4 this year, I wore designer accessories such as my new Michael Kors bag, Louboutins and my Daniel Wellington watch. To really push the boat out that morning I went and got a fancy up do and stuck some pearls on some hair pins and added them. Matching your red lipstick with the same shade as your dress works magic too!

Wedding no. 2

This was actually the reception to the wedding that happened over in Florida and was on the Sunday. It was held at the Maynard over in Grindleford, Derbyshire way. The venue is like something out of Harry Potter but is a beautiful building with modern and antique furnishings. The bride one again looked stunning and the guest that made it to the ceremony in Orlando wore the same dresses and suits to the Maynard...not me of corse! I have so many dresses I had to choose a different one. Theres a story behind this dress I wore too... I put a little extra chub on a year and a half a go when I purchased this dress from Ebay and I bust the zip on it twice!!! Its supposed to be a size 10 but as its Versace for H&M, I don't think the sizes are the same and its a teeny wheeny very tight size 10 to ay the least, so I was pleased that I hadn't packed on any pounds after Flordia / Bahamas and I could actually fit in it so it would have been unacceptable not to wear it.

Dress - Versace for H&M

I love the colour of this dress as apart from a dress I bought last week this is the only other purple one I own and the fact that it appeared on season 4 of 90210 on my all time favourite character Niaomi Clark (played by AnnaLynne McCord) well it has a major special place in my closet! The detailing on it is fabulous almost like a peacock/fish scale at the sides and the gold Versace button on the detailed neck line really show off the wow factor of the dress.

Bag - Ps.Besitos at Etsy

To add to the dress I choose my book like bag in a different shade of purple to colour contrast the tens and shades. I love this bag its so quirky and different. If you log onto there Etsy shop which is amazing they do all different kinds of designs like Alice In Wonderland, Peter Rabbit to Jane Eyre they are fabulous.

Shoes  Primark

I really struggled on choosing a pair of shoes to go with this dress as I didn't want anything too fussy and I would have loved to wore my Louboutins for the second day in a row but I knew for a dam fact at this due I was going to be pretty merry and if I trashed those shoes I would have gave myself a good stern talking to! The classic black sandals with cold buckle worked well though and at £12 from Primark they are a bargain and the classic shoe of the season.

Head Garland - Primark

At just £3 and new in at Primark this flower headdress is a total bargain. I love the detail of the flowers and some of the dotted buds were in gold which worked well and made my outfit a little more elegant. I love these garlands at the moment and are great for festivals and summer days. (God I do need my roots doing though, lol)

' Gingham and Minnie ' !

This outfit certainly raised a few HIGHBROWS, I think that was down to the tights I got in America from a shop called Hot Topic. They are flesh coloured with a colour printed Minnie Mouse at the bottom which looked like I have had a massive leg tattoo. Certainly a little obscure and they did grab a lot of attention, some in a good way but maybe not all (hahaha) but i love that fact they are deceiving as I would never have a tattoo but the tights are such a cool way to test it out and look so realistic from a distance. Also I FINALLY got myself a Co-ord this week from H&M so why not wear that with the tights I thought!!!!

Tights - Hot Topic
Hot topic is brilliant and defiantly worth a visit, If your into disney but like to dress alternative then this store is amazing. I also bought the Snow White ones whilst their too. Check out their website.. (Link in caption)

Top - H&M

Bag, Shoes both from Primark

Skirt - H&M (part of co-ord)

I'm a sucker for a gingham print and have been searching for the perfect co-ord since my vacation so when I spotted this bargains H&M baby i was sold! Both the top and the skirt were £12.99 each, the sized go from XS - XL I got a M in the top as there was only that or XS, and that was too tight but the skirt I got in S as the M was huge. I don't usually try on things before I buy them hence the fact i had to swap the sizes so if you go for this ensemble, try the sizes first as some run smaller and some run a lot bigger than the actual marked size. A simple black leather shoulder bag worked nicely and I wore simple black court shoes to show off the full effect of the tights.

' Dallas Buyers Club ' ! // Weekend Party Outfit!

The outfit is all in the title..., I felt very Gypsy / Dallas in this outfit this week but I loved it. I went very plain and black but added bold accessories like my new metallic gold boohoo shoes which I have been eyeing up ever since they were advertised on their Instagram and they are beauties, not to everyones taste though mind.

Skirt - Asos

I love this Asos black scuba skirt as its so floaty and has pockets which is a bonus as i love a good dress or skirt with pockets.

Top - Newlook, Necklace - River Island

A simple cami vest in black went nicely as I wore a bold chained effect necklace with detailing for boldness and that Dallas look.

I cut some skull and roses printed material this morning and added that to the hair as I wanted it to look like a rag to give a Gypsy feel about the look today and to toughen it up and it worked. Just go to a local haberdashery and find out some really cool print and your set you can have a different head scarf everyday, no need to buy one!

Shoes - Boohoo

Aaah, metallic gold loafer heels, one of my best buys this year so far! I love them!!!! They added so much effect to this outfit and created attention form on lookers, they are certainly different. Be bold and be brave.

This weekend we went to a 60th birthday party in Liverpool and had a good old time. Since we got back of holiday we haven't stopped hence why my blog updates have been so slow. It wasn't a really posh event just a normal family party in a local club so I kept it pretty simple with a white v-neck dress but my shoes did the talking as I wore my custom detailed pointed toe pumps. I gave my Michael Kors bag its first outing too.

Coat - H&M, Dress - Primark

The Holiday....

I have major holiday blues and it's unfortunate to be back in the rainy UK as we had such a good time in the states and the Bahamas was absolutely amazing! We flew out on the Saturday and arrived in the afternoon, transport wise we got a good deal on an upgrade and hired a Ford Mustang GTI 5.0, it was awesome and we felt like superstars for a fortnight! It had a growl on it and with little push it flew down the turnpike on the way to Miami!!! One of the best times on our fab vacation was going to see THE BOSS - Bruce Sprinsteen, he was incredible!!!!!!

Disney (as always) was superb but in Magic Kingdom it rained all day which was disappointing so we all ended up rocking' a poncho and classic Minnie Mouse ears, thinking I may start a new fashion with that! Universl studios - Islands of adventure was pretty cool in Harry Potter world, it was so realistic and I actually felt like I was on the movie set....

Reliving my youth

Our friends wedding out there was absolutely beautiful, they had a harpist and the little lady that married them was adorable. The bride looked stunning and the men didn't scrub up to bad either.

I wore my candy lace dress from Topshop that I got in the sale last year, I wore nude Zara heels and my hair was scraped up in a messy bun with a signature ribbon around. I didn't go to heavy on accessories as the dress was so pretty with the lace and my bag was black and white to contrast the outfit to add a modern fashion spin.

Me and the beautiful bride.

It was certainly an experience to go to a wedding abroad,  it was the most beautiful and romantic setting and the bad weather they had that day held off just after they had their photos. It was good to dress up to as in Orlando with the parks all day and the sweltering weather its hard to look your best.

CRUISIN'....

We went on the Norwegian Sky which was a freestyle cruise so it wasn't the fancy pansy dressy dressy sort of style but it was a mixture of people in flip flops and heels so people went at there own leisure. I thoroughly enjoyed the cruise, you felt like royalty! I would defiantly recommend it.
We headed down to Miami on the Monday morning to pick up the cruise and on Tuesday we docked at Great Bahama Bay, there we headed to Taino beach. On the wednesday (my fave day) Paradise Island in Nassau was on the itinerary! The last island we went was Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegians own private island and it was so beautiful with its pristine white beaches and crystal clear blue seas. We both went snorkelling too which was awesome!!!

Royal Towers - Atlantis

Atlantis was so amazing and the aqua adventure is worth a visit, the complex is huge! I have always wanted to go here from being a kid when I watch the Olsen twins 'Holiday In The Sun' video and it was what I imagined and more.

Before the surprise of a marriage proposal....
We had such an amazing day, for dinner we went to a restaurant on the cruise with a view of the sun going down and of the royal towers at Atlantis, a perfect way to end a perfect day until the surprise of A PROPOSAL!!!! WERE ENGAGED!!! My ring is beautiful and I couldn't wait to share the news on my blog. It feels so gown up to be engaged so look out for some wedding ideas posted up on my blog.., although we won't be getting hitched until 2016 onwards....sooooo expensive!
The ring - Pear shaped diamond (My dream ring) the boy did good!

WELCOME TO MIAMI...

After the cruise we spent the day in Miami with friends and had an awesome day, I don't know what to make of it as a place still but we enjoyed it. Saw the DASH shop and went in Miami Ink tattoo parlour (lovehatetattoos) and they signed a shirt for my sister whose totally obsessed my them and they were all so friendly. It would have also been rude not to got= to the Hardrock cafe down the Marina of Miami which was a beautiful spot overlooking all the luxury private yachts and many things a normal person couldn't quite afford.
South Beach
Holiday Buys...

Orlando's fab for low price designer merchandise because of superstore Macy's, Chris managed to get some Levis 5'10s pretty cheap compared to the prices over here in the UK.

My top buy was a black Michael Kors bag which worked out at around £80.
